MOBIRURAL workshop with representatives of European Rural Network

On June 21st, MOBIRURAL partners met with representatives of European Rural Network at the offices of Association Européenne pour l’Innnovation dans le Développement Local – AEIDL in Brussels.

The main objective of the meeting was to present the MOBIRURAL project and to identify potential future cooperation, especially regarding connections between MOBIRURAL Network and the European Rural Network.

During the meeting, Daniel Grandis presented MOBIRURAL and the main results. Then, AEIDL presented their activities and their role as Support Office for the European Rural Pact.

The representative of AEIDL were very interested in the results of MOBIRURAL and offered to facilitate contact with SmartaNet coordinated by SMARTA project/community.

Also, AEIDL would like to use MOBIRURAL results, especially the Handbook and the learning platform, in their activities. Overall, the workshop was very successful and opened new opportunities for further exploitation of MOBIRURAL results even after it finishes.
